About Us
We are a community-based and refugee-led organization.
About us
We empower refugees through peacebuilding, legal advocacy, gender equality promotion, youth engagement, and sustainable livelihood programs that strengthen social cohesion and improve quality of life.
Give Hope Initiatives (GHI) is a refugee-led community organization established in 2018 in Hagadera Refugee Camp, Dadaab, Kenya. Founded by a group of committed refugee women and men, GHI was created to respond to the urgent needs of displaced communities—especially women, girls, and vulnerable households who face daily challenges such as gender-based violence, lack of legal documentation, limited livelihood opportunities, and recurring conflict.
Rooted in the lived experiences of refugees, GHI works to restore dignity, build resilience, and promote self-reliance through community-driven solutions.
